Flu Outbreak Prompts School Closings

Schools have closed in selected areas in New York, California and Texas due to the Swine Flu outbreak. At least 8 students became sick in a small Catholic school in New York, and there are dozens more suspected cases of the illness. The schools in these states have closed for precautionary measures for at least the first half of next week in order to perform cleanup on site to prevent further infection from the flu virus.
